PathwayConnect's academic courses are offered online through BYU-Idaho. Religion classes are offered through local institute programs or online through BYU-Idaho, depending on a student's age.
BYU-Idaho Academic Courses (for all students)
GS 120 LIFE SKILLS
GS 120 teaches basic life skills that can lead to success in both personal life and academic studies. The three main areas of study are: learning to learn, self-sufficiency, and disciple leadership. The topics studied include study skills, career and academic planning, provident living, budgeting, goal-setting, time management, learning to lead by teaching others, and blessing others with what is learned.
ENG 106 BASIC WRITING
ENG 106 teaches basic writing conventions. Topics in this course include: understanding the writing process; writing effective sentences, paragraphs, and short essays; patterns of organization; rhetorical modes and purposes; audience analysis; the composing process; and editing.
MATH 100G INTRO TO ALGEBRA AND FINANCE
MATH 100G is designed to help students review, learn, and retain the fundamentals of basic mathematics and algebra. Students will gain competency in entry-level college math skills; use Excel spreadsheet software to perform mathematical and financial computations; apply math skills to financial decisions such as loan payments, savings, and budgeting; and discuss provident living topics (e.g., self-reliance, stewardship, and personal finance).

FDREL 121 BOOK OF MORMON 1
PathwayConnect’s Book of Mormon courses are taught online through BYU-Idaho. Book of Mormon Part 1 examines 1 Nephi through Alma 29. The teachings of the prophets — including Alma, Nephi, Jacob, Enos, and Mosiah — will be studied. Doctrinal topics covered in this course include faith, repentance, the Atonement, the war against Satan, the purpose of life, and the “Doctrine of Christ” found in the scriptures.
FDREL 122 Book of Mormon 2
PathwayConnect’s Book of Mormon courses are taught online through BYU-Idaho. Book of Mormon Part 2 examines Alma 30 through Moroni 10. FDREL 250 Jesus Christ and the Everlasting Gospel
This course focuses on the eternal ministry of Jesus Christ and His divine roles and teachings throughout His premortal, mortal, and postmortal life.
